The total land area of the Cultural Center project is 308,000 square meters, the net land area is 208,000 square meters, the construction scale is about 670,000 square meters, and the parking space is about 3200, among which: The public buildings are about 320,000 square meters, with an investment of about 3.2 billion yuan, including seven individual buildings, namely, square tower, science and Technology Museum and Youth Palace, art village, library, archive center, museum and art gallery. The commercial buildings are about 350,000 square meters, which are composed of Hongyu Dongping Cultural Hotel, Book City, Star Yao Film and Television Plaza and Creative Industrial Park. Combining culture and business, the project is modern, fashionable and rich in Lingnan characteristics. It will become a new landmark of Foshan culture with high-grade and high-quality reflecting international standards and Lingnan cultural characteristics. It will provide one-stop cultural leisure, experience and exchange platform for the public. Attracting social capital to participate in the development and construction of the new city, promoting the upgrading of the urban environment of the new city, and improving the level of urbanization of Foshan has played a very positive role.
Phuong Tha
The landmark building of the cultural center has a unique shape, similar to one square body misplaced stacked, with a total height of 153 meters and a total construction area of about 70,000 square meters. The east podium of the tower has a 1200-seat grand theater and 400-seat multi-function hall. The west podium is an urban planning exhibition hall of more than 20,000 square meters. The tower is partly designed with high-grade banquet halls, exhibitions, conferences, sightseeing and other functions.

With a construction area of about 70,000 square meters and a building height of about 50 meters, the building is an educational place for teenagers to carry out popular science learning and practice. Interaction and experience are the core design features of the building. Art village
Building area of about 3500 square meters, building height of about 17 meters, including A, B, C three scattered around the river Chung, in the future can be held pottery, paper cutting and other Foshan traditional folk art, as well as sculpture, painting, photography, art display and other cultural exchange and publicity exhibition activities.
Library
The building area is about 47,000 square meters and the building height is about 48 meters. The project designer adopts the elegant characteristics of traditional Foshan paper-cut in the exterior design and re-interprets it, putting on a transparent "coat" for the east and west wings of the library. The patterns on the "paper-cut" are made up of Chinese characters. All the texts are taken from Weng Sen's poem "Four Times Reading Music" in the late Song and early Yuan dynasties.
File center
With a construction area of about 60,000 square meters and a building height of about 60 meters, it is jointly built by three museums, including Foshan Archives, real estate Archives and urban construction Archives. In the design of the main entrance of the project, the architectural components with unique Lingnan characteristics such as "wood wood Gate" and "Moon gate" extracted from traditional Guangfu dwellings are reconstructed through modern techniques to form a modern portal space that echoes the traditional culture. The main building is interpreted with the idea of thread-bound books and bookshelves.
museum
The construction area is about 42,000 square meters, and the height of the building is about 40 meters. The architect uses the roots of Lingnan native plant Banyan tree as the original material of the exterior wall texture, and re-interprets the modern material and curtain wall technology to form a delicate exterior wall with artistic expression, taking its meaning of endless growth and luxuriant foliage.
Art gallery
With a construction area of about 26,000 square meters and a height of about 42 meters, it takes the image of leaves of papillon anemone as the facade theme, taking its artistic leader and outstanding meaning.
